Telnyaska sizing

Hi, I've been looking at the long sleeved telnyashkas and I was wondering about the sizing. 48 seems to be the smallest available but that seems a little on the large side. Perhaps the smaller sizes are simply out of stock, or maybe the sizes are just a little odd...

Any help recommending a size would be most appreciated. The guy I'm buying for is 5' 9" and has a 40 in chest.

Hello Zw4929 I'm sorry to inform you but, Size 48 is the smallest size we have available at the moment for our Telnyashka summer shirts, Winter shirts, and Tank tops.  I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.  However, if you do have your heart set on a Telnyashka we have this sizing chart for reference and conversion from American to European sizing.
